What steps are required to register my Trademark?

Have the Trademark

The products or services the trademark will cover. If you do not know how, we will advise you, also at no cost.

Escriboo will carry out a preliminary study on the feasibility of registering the trademark. Up to this point, we are not talking about money yet.

Creation of a monitoring service. Monitoring of the trademark to prevent the registration of other similar trademarks that may be filed with the OEPM, with the preparation of notices that Escriboo will provide over time. Highly recommended. See fees below.

In the event of any action against the trademark, all necessary steps will be taken to defend it, whether through administrative proceedings (filing oppositions), contentious-administrative proceedings, or commercial proceedings. Price depends on each case.

Trademark registration scope

national

scope. If what is desired is a registration covering Spanish territory, it is registered with the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, OEPM, which is an autonomous body of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade of the Government of Spain. EU trademark register

As it involves protection coverage in all countries that are and will be part of the European Union, the registration is carried out with the EUIPO, the European Union Intellectual Property Office. You can consult its website www.euipo.europa.eu

International trademark register

When the intention is to register a trademark worldwide, the registration application is handled by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), which administers and coordinates the national intellectual property offices of the different countries from Madrid.
